http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36332.html This trailer wasn't approved for release in the US by the ESRB, but it was in EU. GT picked it up and posted it. This game just looks better and better every time I see it. I'm a huge Resident Evil fan, but if I had to choose right now, Dead Space may take my money first due to the horror factor of this game thus far. Arstechnica reports that the so-called "Lullaby Trailer" above, is verboten for US release per the ESRB. Said Electronic Arts to Arstechnica: "This is called the Lullaby Trailer, and is banned here in the US (well not banned, but wasn't approved) by the ESRB because well, it's pretty gory. EU was allowed to have it and Gametrailers posted it up." I know I've been really sweet on Dead Space lately, but vids like this earn it. So what's the verdict here gang? There's a decapitation, and a de-legging, and a buncha bodies, and floating blood and gore, and a zombiefied Isaac. The worst part of this, for me, is the pained singing of the lullaby. Please, pairing bloody violence with a child's song? So overdone. Granted, this is intense (for a trailer anyway) and I can't imagine it being shown on television. But why is this trailer a no-go for U.S. release, but OK for Europe? Kotaku
I'm now torn which game to get on Halloween. This or Project Origin. I'm a die-hard F.E.A.R. fan, so the sequel is a must have...but Dead Space looks way too fucking good.
Multiplayer would have been epic. Being able to slice off an enemy PC's legs and they have to crawl on the ground or slice off there arms and they cant shoot you back
Yeah, but I want Project Origin, RE5 and Dead Space for it's single player. I'll stick with Halo and CoD for my MP fix. I hate developers just force feeding us MP for the sake of adding MP, especially when a large SP story line is involved. Fuck, people cried because Mass Effect didn't have MP. WTF?
Thats because alot of people like to have player to player interaction now adays. The days of gamers being alone in their room not talking to anyone is gone now we are all comming together and wanting live person interaction. hell anymore when I play a single player game I have me and a buddy switching off.
Thats fine. And I understand that. But games that have a strong single player game don't need MP. Most developers have fucked the SP portion of the game just to shove some PoS MP aspect, and now instead of having a great SP game, they just have a shit MP game with a now crappy SP. If it's a game like Halo...It's expected. But a game like Dead Space? There isn't any need for it. Why should a survival/horror game have Multiplayer? Resident Evil 5 shouldn't even have fucking Co-op (another reason I may stay away from RE5)
