Dead Island

Here's a trailer you have to watch, got me interested in the game even though its just a cgi trailer.

Don't have much more info than its suppose to be a non-linear open world fps that works on mostly using melee weapons that you pick up.

Anyway, check out the trailer, its awesome.

Isn't that pretty much the same as Dead Rising?

 

Maybe... but you know, actually good I can't say for sure, but it seems more open world, create hideouts and board em up, fend off the undead with some friends in multiplayer as well.

 

I really loved that trailer... the way they did it was amazing.

 

I doubt it. This game is going to be first person, set in an open world, and be up to four player co-op.

Similarities, yes, but it would be like comparing Halo to Mass Effect.
