Crunchyroll is giving away premium members for 30 days on 10/10/10 to honor Naruto's birthday. Crunchyroll basically subs anime from japan and allows anyone to stream them, much like Hulu. However there are advertisements (that are removed if your premium) and as a non-premium member you have to wait awhile to stream new shows (usually a week) and you only get SD videos.

However... that doesn't matter because tomorrow you can make an account sign up and get a month of premium membership for free. Thank... Naruto? It's a really good site and I watch a lot of anime on it. :)

The promo isn't up yet, it goes up tonight at midnight and expires tomorrow at midnight.

    Watch this space:

I repeat don't make an account and sign up for the free trial now else your eligibility for this promo will be forfeit. Make an account and wait wait until midnight then go to the above page and it should have further instructions.

Is Naruto's birthday really that big of a reason to give out such a sweet deal?

Eh who cares, free premium for 30 days ftw!

Also does not benefit the creators at all. Where as watching on Crunchyroll the creators get a cut as such they can continue to make more anime.

I've always believed in sampling things with no real value before buying them.
I think I'll watch all my anime on free stream then buy what seems worth my money rather than pay first and be stuck in an unintelligent funding system.
