I was recently involved with the Crimecraft Beta. I am still bound by the NDA, so I cannot say anything or answer any questions about it. It would not do one any good to ask me anyway, as I have left the Beta and decided to wait for All Points Bulletin instead.
They are two totally different games, hehe. Crimecraft is more like Rainbow 6, APB is more like GTA. Totally different gameplay.
Never played GTA, so I do not know. I am looking at APB only because it is suppose to be a different game design. It has been said that a new type of online game design is being developed here, which is a mix of the FPS and the MMOG... so I thought I would check them out to see if they are worth my time [grins]. So far, I have not found anything that catches my interest. Since I play both FPS'ers and MMOG's, I figure this might be an new path to travel. We will see [grins]. Answer your question?
I never said that (protects his NDA arse). I am just no longer in the Beta for personal reasons. Also, it is a TPS, not a FPS.
Actually, Vogster (the Company who is developing CC) made it clear that a CC Beta Tester was allowed to publicly say that they were in the CC Beta, but that anything else would lead to legal action.
