I am in desperate need of a new computer before this one dies. I've been looking on Craigslist for a gaming computer. Could someone please check out these two links and let me know what you think.

I personally was leaning toward the one in the Antec case for $580. It was just built.

Dash wants me to get the other one. It was built a year ago and the guy said something was sliding on it. Not sure...

Please give me some feedback as I'm afraid to lose either one of these deals.

Well the second one is gone, so that only leaves you with the first.

I say try to get something with at least a 4870 or an 8800GTX/9800GTX.

3850 Should be sufficient for many games though, if you really want it.

160 gb hard drive is pretty small, but the rest looks good.

it doesn't look too bad... question is: can you build your own and do you have any hardware that could carry over such as optical drives or a monitor? you're basically paying for those things in duplicate if they still work on your current machine.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust Craigslist for that kind of thing either, how fragile those things can be I just wouldn't feel comfortable getting one from them. At best if I were you, if you know someone that can/know how, build your own, you'll save time and money. Otherwise check out www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com. Those two sites are what I use, and I generally am the one buidlling computers/recommending computers to those I know.
