I like them both equally to be honest. I tend to think of PVE as a baseline to learn mechanics and test your limits without the constraint of unrelenting pressure from another player. PVP is exciting because of the demand of on-the-fly reactions. Frankly, it's exhilarating and success against an unpredictable opponent is rewarding.​

From the information provided it seems that you would be a great fit. Progression without extreme and frustrating pressure. The most appealing factor based on assumptions from said post is an offer of a family rather than "people online"​
