I know very little about this game, but it looks outstanding! How would XoO work in this game? Is it almost like a space-wide Planetside? Also, Hey guys! What's up?
Hey PhoenixDog, nice to see you. The game is still very much alpha, so it is too early to define precisely anything. The set-up of Star Citizen is a civil society, with some lawless areas. And a border with an alien menace that sometimes makes incursions. So, it is different from the all-out war of PlanetSide. You can do trade, transport, mining, exploration, convoy protection, smuggling, pirating, racing, cruising, etc ... The lawless areas will see more regular action for sure, and some of us are more interested by that part. The different parts of the game are released as time goes (all alpha). Atm, you can dogfight (space) and race. Soon, we'll have multi crew ships ready for fights (manned turrets, etc ..). FPS part should be coming in a few month IIRC.
