Maybe I just love the Coens, but I had a blast watching this movie. It seems to be in somewhat limited release, so it may be rough to find, but well worth it. The tagline that imdb gave the movie is exactly accurate: Intelligence is relative. It's ludicrous, hilarious and startlingly funny. You don't have to think, but you won't leave feeling stupid.
My GF and I went last Friday and I laughed a lot. It was ridiculous but funny. I putit just under Hamlet 2 which I really really enjoyed.
Did you? I had some reservations about it considering it contained elements of high school and drama class... I just may have to go see it now.
if priezt says its good then i will go watch it....babylon AD however is the shit and not in a good way yea i was worried about the movie just being kinda stupid and trying to hard to be funny but now that you say its good all my worries about it have gone away
It's not as twisted/tangled as Burn After Reading. I know it's not going to be everyone's favorite, but I laughed so much at Hamlet 2. I felt bad for the main char as well as couldn't stop laughing. It had a Dumber and Dumber element at times when it was like "He just didn't get the real word". I felt it had a good mix of comedy and ridiculousness.
can't go wrong with Brad Pitt and George at the same movie. I also liked Ocean's 11-13 and i knw some of u guys will disagree, but this 2 guys together is like a movie magnet to my eyes.
Clooney and Pitt's characters in here was amazing; hilarious and completely unlike most of the more serious or grown-up characters the two have done lately. Their roles were entirely unexpected, so it made you laugh all the more seeing two A-listers bouncing around the way they did.
