Game looks decent. Another DLC-only FPS coming down the pipe for $15 USD. It was suppose to hit Xbox LIVE early this Summer, then the PC in the late Summer, but they've suffered a set-back and made this announcement last Friday: A ways off but something to keep an eye out for I think. Since it was slated for release via Xbox LIVE first I'd assume it's coming to PC via 'Games for Windows - LIVE,' but it may also appear on Steam since they are self publishing {Blacklight: Tango Down came out both ways also}. Side note: Kid busted at PAX East 2010 trying to steal 'Breach' code. L-O-L.
Looks fun. That sharpshooter would've been killed first because they weren't covering the upper exit on the upper pathway. Only the paths exit. Second the upper would have near perfect vantage point on that guy at the stone wall. Then you just camp outside of LoS and let them breach the bridge. Why not just blow the bridges make them come middle! Set your sharpshooter in the back to cover the upper exit, your m60 covering mid for suppression and two m4s to pick and clear them =P Still some of you goons needs to listen to what he says =P
Seriously! I wanted to avoid commenting on his strategy, seeing as how I've zero military training and he sounded like he knew what he was talking about, [doorways are death! LOL] but when he said not to blow the bridges I couldn't get over it. Blowing the bridges turns 3 areas you need to watch into 1 area you need to watch. If and when you need to exit, just take the middle road out. I'm going to continue believing he just said that to keep the presentation going.
He didn't want to destroy the bridge because he knew that if he left it up it would be used. So rather than limit the enemies movement they were camping.
Yea but if you look at the LoS angles the bridge would be used but it also gave them initiative to camp the upper levels. You'd get maybe 1 or 2 people before they found the angle on your outer wall guy. He'd easily be the first to be dropped because no one was covering his right high. Like I tell our FPS guys. Cover their exits, not your entrances. If they wanted to keep the upper bridge open they should move in front of it and use it as a fall back point. Then you can cover that upper exit and have high ground on both the lower bridge and main street. Also covers your man in the middle. Just need a guy further back and all the way to the left to lay down cover and call out incs.
