Blood donations may become obsolete

    I don't see the complaints about it destroying embryos as valid because they are using leftover embryos. As in embryos that would be destroyed anyway. At least this research has the potential to save lives.

    As for that last paragraph, it also doesn't matter as the aim of this research is to make blood donations obsolete because it is safer than donated blood, and has a larger supply.

    I can see some controversy there... but its a neat idea.

    at UAB they are doing research where they take normal cells and can swap out part of the DNA code and they will become stem cells so each person can grow their own organs or something like that, our english teacher was useing it in some vague way to attach it to a project

    If it works, I'm all for it. This could solve many health issues.
