Hey XoO, generally I can fix anything that gets fucked up with my computer, software or hardware. These video files are mostly used at cut-scenes and introduction videos for these games. Then and again i've had multiple problems with running .bik files (video/audio) in-game only (Call of Duty World at War, Red Faction: Guerrilla, etc). These .bik files, when played in-game either stutter to where a 30s clip takes 5m (Red Faction: Guerrilla) or the game hangs to where I have to hard reboot (CoD: WaW). However, using .bik's creator's .bik player, RAD Tools, the videos (along with its audio) play flawlessly. Can anyone help shed some light on my problem? I am running XP SP3; and to be lazy (system specs), I can run most current-gen games at Normal settings. (Crysis, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, etc.) Note: I have noticed that most, if not all Vista installations do not have this problem.
Obtained a version of Windows 7, no problems with .bik files in-games. Still don't know what the problem was with XP. Hopefully this thread may help another some time.
