To avoid thread necromancy (even if the powers of the darktide would allow raising an army) i was wondering what would be the best USB wireless headset.

Is the Logitech 930 the best overall or would there be a little competition ? I've checked the germanz but they seem to only do jack plugged items.

I need USB because i move the headset from one comp to another (if i play or if i skype) and wireless because, i need to be able to move around when i tabletop on skype / google hangout.

I have one wireless but it's a piece of crap so i need something gud.

    Thx :)

I have been fond of the SteelSeries headsets, very durable, good material and customer support has been outstanding.

I've read this so far :

    http://www.techspot.com/review/1032-best-wireless-headsets/page4.html

Steelseries seems less comfy than the others but nice otherwise, along with the Astro A50 they seem very good but hell expensive (100$ more than a Sennheiser Game zero...), for such a huge price diff i might just move my ass around my PC to plug the sennheiser in the back panel and drop it whenever i walk around.

I've been liking my corsair gaming headset if you want something on the cheaper side. But I am not an audiophile by any means. All I care about is not ripping cords out like I usually do with wired headsets and can I get as far as the bathroom without taking them off or not.

There isn't really such a thing as a good sounding wireless headset, so just get one that has good build quality, is comfortable, and doesn't cost a ton.

Oh well yeah i'm not going to listen to music on them anyway, i've got a ton of hi fi for music. So i'll only listen to game sounds when i use them.

I mostly use speakers on the PC (Klipsch or Edifier, depending on the PC) so i use the headset only when i must be on TS and speak (otherwise i listen thru the speakers).

I only need something comfy and with a good mic since noone understands me to begin with :p

It seems, however, that the 930 doesn't work well with Windows 10 according to users complaints, which would be a deal breaker -> Does anyone have Win 10 and a 930 who could confirm that by chance plz ?

Well the G930 was at 99CA$ today on amazon so i ordered it, i'll see how it works !

Got a full logitech setup now with the 910, 930, 6XX forgot-the-number mouse and the G17 somewhere.

Just to confirm the G930 works perfectly on Windows 10, just need to edit the 15 minutes timeout on their XML file if you don't want to switch back the headset on.
