Benchmark Software?

    What matters is what fps you actually see in your game. Most of the benchmarks won't tell you a whole lot about how your system will really perform.

    Prime95 is a really good way of testing your CPU, not necessarily benchmarking it, but if you Overclock you'll def know if it's stable or not with this program.

    j/k... for gaming performance, Futuremark's 3DMark series is popular. 3DMark Vantage is newest in the series, but requires DX10 (and Vista). If you don't have Vista, 3DMark06 is the previous version of the benchmark.
