Just get a 16xx and crop it to 1440.

  2. screw that i want some that fit my screen so i get to enjoy all of it and if your talking about resizing it other than center/tile/stretch in the desktop options i dunno what your talking about

computer i have has nothing on it aside from wow, limewire, WMP, and internet lol

  3. Thats because the resolution you have is not very common. I think resizing is probably your only option, unless you want to make your own.

  4. blaaaa useless all of you useless

o well thx for your help

  5. unless your resolution is way out of wack, just using a larger one has 0 impact on the quality when it sizes it down. However if you have a super wide screen or something it may look funny.

  6. Just get a 1600x1200 something and use gimp or similar to scale the image down so that it's close to your resolution, then crop the parts that dont fit. 1440x900 is like some wierd widescreen format for laptops, and backgrounds you find will probably be for desktops.

Useless? Thats what your screen's resolution is when it comes to gettin a good background for it. Your best bet is to screen shot it off a game.

Who actually ever sees their background besides on startup?

I always have something running, like Opera or winamp or actual work.

Anyway, google showed me this =P

What you're looking for is probably a site that lets you sort by size, then by whatever other category. So googling 1440 900 wallpaper: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=opera&rls=en&q=1440+900+wallpaper&btnG=Search
google imagesearch probably has some hack that allows you to search at 1440 900.

  8. enjoy.

  9. Not for sure, but I guess you can try your luck in google.

  10. I always use wallpapers larger than my resolution. Just makes it easier.
