Background Problems!

    Im a total newb and Im not afraid of saying it out loud when it comes to computer savi stuff and well I got an issue that I have no idea how to fix. I want to put a picture as my wallpaper and an error box jumps out, stating "This image cant be set as wallpaper. An internal error ocurred" now ..... its popping up with every picture that im trying to set ............. any ideas or suggestions?

    Im really not sure what to tell you. I already know you have a full copy of Windows because I helped you with the install way back when. My guess is maybe some service is disabled for allowing JPEG pictures as the background. I know Windows has a special module to allow that, without such only .bmp files of a certain format can be used. It probably gives you an error with any picture you try because most people dont have .bmp files anymore so you probably have not tried that type.

    Right click on the desktop, select personalize. Then click and change the background to windows default ones that it comes with. See if those work
