WE DID IT BOYS AND GIRLS. After a long hard fought battled to regain lost footing in the top guild domain. The Black Desert Boys with their ton of dedication that should be admired throughout Xen of Onslaught has finally pushed themselves back to the front page! Great work team!!!!
nice! man, i've missed out on a lot....hopefully a few weeks ill be able to hop-on again. it's been rough not having internet at home to game, im done with single player games lol. keep up the good job and have fun
Dont matter to me @Jes We have made sure you have been kept in the guild for helping us start all this shit and all your pre-work that you did. When you are able, come back. Your spot will never be taken!
That is awesome! Good to see we are working on building up our name as a competitive pvp group again. Where is goons on that list? I would love to use that as an "in your face" tool when recruiting for CoE
Like they do in most games when their guild falls apart. They left AION due to the game being "shitty" but really couldn't control or support 3 guilds with their mass recruiting and it basically imploded with all their in house drama. Not sure what other MMOs Goons are in but I believe the only successful guild they have had in game is what EvE?
They have various forms of success in different games. You got to remember that it isn't just a gaming community - it is literally hundreds of random people who enjoy various things on the site. It isn't surprising that most of them ebb and flow with how popular a game is. EvE is a big exception since they had pretty grounded and active leadership plus the EVE gameworld is fantastic for new players looking to jump in with a crew. You can be having fun with everyone in a few days or a week - that is unheard of most other MMOs.
Yea, if you compare what we do by our standards yes @TwilightAngel is right. I have to side with @PersonalRiot on this one tho. Each gaming community out there caters to different people. They do different things. What makes them successful in their minds and so on. If we honestly want to start comparing Apples to Oranges. I would rather take that off a front post. Personally I wouldn't mind opening the door to more options for ourselves once we get back to doing what we do best. Such as RP guys, Beta Testers, streamers, and other things that I may be leaving out. Maybe give them bounds to create "Xen" in their adventures. As the guys that do what we normally do kick ass and take names are awarded the Xen of Onslaught are able to hold that title in the game. BDO has truly opened my eyes to what more we could do out there for members and players looking for a new home. Its just going to take time and effort. Maybe a bit of remolding some of our personalities, but at the same time it doesn't. I see so many different "Levels" if you will of commitment from this one group. Meaning, it goes in like stages such as: Hardcore, Semi-Hardcore, Casual. Each person falls into a stage of their group based off what they can or cannot do. They assist each other, and work as a community. At the same time, Group C doesn't get flack for their playtimes/dedication, because that group is in H or SH. I think the best part is tho, the whole group values each other completely relying on each other but it never seems to step on each other. Something I think we could all learn from. Meditate on this, I will.... DT
Omg DT has seen the light I have been preaching this for years. It takes all kinds to have a successful community. You need your whammy's and your sokar's and your slappy's and your arc's to make it work. Making everyone fit your profile of "x" leaves alot of people out in the cold
