TERA (EU) ApplicationHow old are you? 19, 20 in 7 days (Huray!) In-Game Name? Axo, for the below question, I do got Ts3 but no Mic Im able to use. Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? No What is your primary class? Sorcerer What are you looking for in a community/guild and how do you feel XoO will forfill your needs What I look for in a guild is that they are a great team to play with, and dont give up the second something doesnt work. So far both my gaming carreers got crushed by lack of activity and I dont want this to happen again (see my little wall of text below, in the history of gaming part.) This is 1 thing I think XOO will not have. Being a gaming community I get the feeling they are a good bunch of friends, that do a lot of stuff together, which is exactly what I like. why do you think you will fit in on your previous awnser I think I fit in because what I look for in a guild I am, I may be a bit like peanutbutter though, some people like me and some people dont. But overall I am a nice guy and I am very active, all my free time goes into either SC2 or Tera. I also got almost every evening free with no work or other stuff so at what I think are peak times for XoO I can play a lot. What is your focus on in the game My focus in any game is to have fun, and I can have fun in a lot of things, right now Im 31 so I have fun in exploring. When I am 60 I will have fun in doing endgame content with quality people. Depending on how the PvP is on Tera at 60 I will enjoy that too as I am quite a competitive player. Are we the first guild you join in this game Yes. Link us your Glyph build using the glyph builder and explain wy you picked those glyphs http://teracodex.com/glyphbuilder#s...100000000000001000001010000000000000000000000. The reason I have these glyphs is the style I use for leveling. My main spell to hurt the enemy is Fireblast I, and using these glyphs I will have a fast-cast Fireblast on a target that is rooted by Lightning Trap (which is also cast fast). Previous Gaming Experience: Ok you asked for it. I will just name the other MMOs Ive played. I started playing World of Warcraft in 2005 or 2006, long ago at least. I started playing in Classic with my main being a mage. At this time I was on my brothers account and he only allowed me to keep 1 character at the time, at level 18 I wanted to try out another class being the hunter, so I had to delete my mage. This way I kind of went through Classic, never reaching 60 to test endgame (Remember I was just 14 years old back then). When the Burning Crusade came out I got my own account and got a mage (Axo, Khadgar) to 70. Here I joined Ensi Darisam and I got into my first raid being Zul Aman. It was epic, I remember my first boss being the Hex Lord Malacras and the amount of tactics required was insane for me. I was still playing casual so I didnt get into a raid to often, but those I did got in I tried to do as best as I can. Wrath of the Lich King got out and I got to level 80 fairly fast. I started to raid a lot more and got spots more often. At the end of the expansion I manged to get a very nice mix of gear, with a lot being Ilvl 277. I also started PvPing in WotLK where I got to a rating of about 1600. I wanted to get higher and I was considering buying a boost through ingame gold from the then best priest on the server, Starspawn. I got to duel him in the Dalaran Sewers and if I would win 2 out of 3 duels against him I would earn 5k gold. 1-0 for me, 1-1 and the final game I just smashed him (1600 rated mage vs a 2500 rated Disc Priest). I got 5k gold and with that gold I bought a boost to 1800 from Starspawn for my PvP weapon. It was quite funny that he got payed with his own money . Now the Cataclysm hit Azeroth and I got to 85 as no. 3 in my guild, securing a spot for raids. I got in every raid and we all did well, except for me. I got asked to roll Arcane to give the other 9 players a 3% damage boost. The downside was that my own dps would drop like a fly as Arcane was totally unviable except you had full BiS gear including the Shard of Woe from Sinestra. We had another mage in the guild (Fire) who took my spot as he *did much more dps*. I asked if they could use any of my other charactersto raid with them and they said *Yea, get yourself an 85 geared paladin!*. So I leveled a paladin and geared him up in record time. When I was finally ready they said they didnt need a paladin, they needed a priest instead! So I leveled my priest, same thing as my paladin when she was geared I was told they didnt need a priest either. At this point I decided to change server with my priest, who leveled as a healer. I joined the guild of Xrated, Good Omens. I had a good raiding spot and we made a lot of progress. Later on in the Firelands it went wrong, people stopped showing up and we had problems getting progression raids. We changed to the alliance side but here the guild fell apart. I stopped playing WoW last december and I started playing SW:TOR. In SW:TOR I was just mindin' my own business when I suddenly got invited into a guild with a GM that was very inspiring to me, he had good gear, was very mannered and he was skilled. Here I started raiding with them and they quickly got me into their main group, I got an officer in their guild because of my patience and skills. At the time I was our highest DPS aswell. But also in this guild people started quitting because of the excessive amount of bugs (which I never encountered). Out of our 1 GM and 3 officers the GM left and 1 officer quit the game, the other officer was on a holiday which we didnt know so I was basicly alone leading it. The GM left without a final word and made me a GM while I was at work. I stood for a dilema: Will I rebuild the guild or do I join the other good guild on the server? I chose to rebuild my guild instead. I got a very nice Officer (Semperfidelis) who showed true dedication to making the guild great once again. He was also a lot more social towards our members than I was. Not that I was associal, I just couldnt be bothered to type *Heya <name!> every time someone logged on, or have useless chats . Even th9ugh we invested a lot of time into the guild we had the usual drama of people quitting which we painstakingly geared up in old content. This year around March I just couldnt take it and I quit the game, removed it from my computer and never gone back. The part I regret is never saying goodbye to the Officer Semperifdelis, who put in so much effort to make the guild the guild. So now I was out of games to play. My brother bought me Starcraft 2, which I still play at the moment as I like strategy games a lot, outthinking your opponent. While playing Starcraft 2 I got whispered by Horneyhunter, an old friend of mine and Xrated from WoW to join Tera, he gave me the Skype adress of Xrated and he was so generous to pay the game for me in advance . I am now level 31 and slowly getting to 60, now that I got 3 weeks off work I should be able to get 60 fast. And that concludes my story. What is your activity level? On a normal work week of 35-40 hours for me, I play every hour I am home, which is about... 35-40 hours a week (4 hours during work days, is 28 hours) and then the full weekend to play. When will your activity level be the highest During workdays every evening. And in the weekend I will be online in either Sc2 or Tera every minute I aint eating or taking a dump. Do you have a referral? Xrated, also known as Koen or Baba. A little bit about yourself? As mentioned above, I am a bit like Peanutbutter as someone once said to me. You either like me or you dont. Overall I am an overly patient person, especially when I have to teach someone something. Everything else of my personality you have read in my previous gaming experience Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the TERA usergroup? Yes
