I'm willing to shell it out. I've made too many mistakes trying to get a retail comp. I want GREAT performance this time.

what would you say for a case that fits the 5970? I went with corsair but I'm still searching out for one that is sexy, etc etc

checking out antec 1200.. looks good.

Get the modular corsair too, it's so much easier to deal with than hard wired psu's.

I've loved both my Corsair PSUs.

Also, unless you really like using screws to mount your drives in your case and everything else, I wouldn't get the 1200.
I mean, I have the 900 and putting in harddrives and taking them out requires 8 screws EACH and that gets old quick.
Although, it is a great case so - that's my only beef with it.

I currently bought (and using) a CM HAF932, I think its a bit cheaper, but its almost tool-less cept for the side panels :]

My 2 cents, looks decent. Now Rubius can hark on you for making multiple threads about buying new computer parts instead of me ;]

Agree with this, I wish I woulda splurged a little more and got the modular version of my PSU instead of the "normal", still works just fine and I ran my cables/hid most of them.

Yeah my 900 didn't fit in my old glass desk, I got a new SMALLER desk
which I just sit my tower next too.

Better 'air' quality leaving it out in the open to help ventilate ;]

Although, if you are short on space in your room, then I guess one would have to make do with what they got! The HAF932 was pretty pricey, I didn't want to spend that much on a case, but I read great reviews and noticed a lot of the high end overclocker folks used 'em. I really wanted a custom acrylic case, but those are way too expensive : O

Any reasons you decided on the i920 instead of the i930? I'm not quite sure on the difference in price but I do know the 930's are slowly being phased out.

From what I have read, it's apparently the more adjustable with something called d0...I think!

As far as the antec 1200, I am gonna be using an external docking station as well so once the drives are in, they will for the most part stay there. I am definitely gonna look at the modular corsairs.

    Thanks for the tips!
