arting up some photos..or messing them up

    I was playing with paint.net and trying the effects..

    real life photo I took of a statue at the waterfront..

    The first one is good. It has a nice flow to it and it seems to speak on an artistic level. The second one is OK but the effect doesn't seem to do much for the picture. The Foreground look good but everything after that looks to stimpled, to smudged.

    the second one I was trying for a raised look.
    my grandmother used to paint on cloth..then would stitch material into the painting...like a puppy in the picture would be stuffed.

    but yea..I overdid the oil painting and smudge

    That is a good shot. Wish I had natural beauty close by like that.

    Its like if Nightmare Before Christmas had a baby with Doom 3.

    Love it.

    The panoramic one was very cool too, I'm a sucker for natural art.

    Im surprised you heard of The Follow.
    but yea..good original tunes...pop music..nothing hard like you play Rubius.

    Im hoping they won the gimme the gig contest they were in...sponsored by ford.
    they are in 5th place out of 600 bands..5th place gets them on stage in california at big name venue.
