    That video is so epic.

Damn Elite was a hell of an epic game. Never heard of it going on KS or i'd have backed for sure :)

Edit : seems u can still back. Two options including one that gets all upcoming expansions for 80 quids.

Uhm .. You're a bit late to the party :)

I thought everyone was aware of Elite : Dangerous.
It was even promoted by Chris Roberts.

Star Citizen and Elite : Dangerous are close cousins.

They only raised 2 millions quids. So i don't think that they have the hype of star citizen, even tho they should.

I never really played the freelancer series because Elite blew that game to pieces (and was anterior too). I'll pledge on it for sure.

What is the difference between the two? I haven't play attention to starsims since Freelancer after being disappointed with vapourware Jumpgate: Evo.

The elite serie was all about freedom, less structure than freelancer. Also i liked it a lot because there was no gate or anything like this. It was endless space u could jump from where u wanted to where u wanted (depending on ur engine and fuel). It was also all about your ship, u could have only one, not like in X where u can get a whole fleet. All of em got factions, pirates, whatever. Elite was quite buggy too if i remember well.

But these are old memories, i think elite : frontier is 1994. And the first elite is the first real 3D game on PC i believe.

U could also drop nukes in elite haha. Now for elite : dangerous vs SC i'm not sure. I think dangerous has 400 billions stars against 100 for SC but that's about it. Both have online components but not sure what extent is dangerous'. Probably have to prowl on their website and grab all the info, i'll do it from home if i get the chance.

In terms of package, the Cobra MK III offered in Elite was a very good ship in previous games.

There's only room for one space sim in my heart at the moment.
Although I may be biased from the amount of money I've put into SC.
And I may even still try out Elite when it comes out.

Well elite just require 80£ and u don't need to pay anything anymore (40£ if u just want the game and not the future expansions for free), ain't really a money hungry whore kind of game.

Star Citizen only really needed about £35, so I wouldn't start name-calling. :p
I just chose to back with more.
