Im trying to get a Fiio e07k running in full AMP/DAC mode on my galaxy nexus toro but having trouble finding anything that will fully do this for all apps, found a couple apps that have baked in drivers for themselves but nothing that will allow me to use apollo or google play music with the DAC.

the apps with built in drivers are your only option. The ROM's usually do not include the necessary part to get it working universally and the kernel must also have the module compiled for it to do this, which only Glados seems to have. Yet it is useless there without the ROM part too.

weird i would have thought this would have been resolved in kernels a plenty and roms far and wide but yeah it seems like no one has implemented this, or no one cares to mention it in their release notes. Nothing i can find seems to have this working except for audio recorder pro and usb audio tester... really annoying.

Does anyone know of any ROMs or Kernels available with this stuff working? I guess worst case scenario i use one with a baked in driver, are there any actual legit sound player apps like winamp or something that has this driver baked in other than the ones i mentioned?

Seems like there is a huge hole in the market here... hard to believe.
