Eh not my cup of tea I like stupid shit but they TRY way to hard. Really need to find some retarded trailer trash then it could be funny. maybe..
It was good at first, but they just reuse the same shit over and over again. The first movie was good, and the next one likely will be as well, but the show is just lame now.
Some facts on the show They film that here in Halifax. I went to school with Sarah Dunsworth. (Sarah) Bubbles was the guitar player for a band called Sandbox with the lead singer being Anne Murrys nephew... They used to play at a local bar called "The Palace" all the time, and my friends and I would head down usually when they were playing as they were awsome Not sure why they stopped playing. I think they put out two CDs. You might also catch Treena Lahey in a few shows, who is played by Ellen Page of movies such as Juno and Xmen3 Like most shows they have hit and miss ones. The one with Rita McNeil working the dope fields I got a kick out of. I found I liked the earlier shows better then the more recent ones though... Back when Cory and Trevor were on the show.
I have to agree with you on that one Jeb. The older ones were better. Oh how the times have changed... the palace is so sketchy now...
lol My bars used to be scoundrels, the dome, JJ Rosys, the Palace, Brandys (now Bubbles Mansion) and the halifax Ale House before it became the Ale House (can't recall the name ffs, back even before it was merged with the Palace and you couldn't walk back and forth between the two. We used to live at the palace in high school when sandbox was in town... me and 2 other guys and about 6 girls would all head down for the sandbox shows and at that point when they had a band there they would come in on Tues. and play till sunday I think it was... so we would hit up the bar every night lol... They also were part of the maritime bars live music rotation, so a bunch of bands from the maritimes would rotate though the palace in Halifax, and other bars in Sydney, Moncton, some place in the Valley and Truro I think? (there might have been a few other bars they rotated through as well but I am pretty sure they covered at least those rotations. The music schene was so much better back then Tons of local talent playing... The Palace, Cheers, Roxberry(used to be the misty moon before it closed down and is now the Discovery Centre) and the old Double Duece (which later moved to become birdland, and later again moved to become the Marquee and is now the Paragon I guess) were the main spots for live music. Oh another fact, Bubbles runs a bar called Bubbles Mansion, and he gets in music acts and sometimes takes the stage with them. (I haven't been down to that bar though as I am in my 30s now lol and don't care for the younger bar scene, but I hear from some younger friends that it's a good place to go)
