    Roy was someone i knew in pensacola...really nice down to earth guy..and the baddest MF i ever knew and i knew some badass people.

    We met thru a mutual friend.
    we would sit around drinking beers at his farm...he used to give us eggs to take home...or go to McDonalds for some foods..a few times go to the clubs for drinks.
    You would see him around town all the time..no entourage..no security.

    most did not belong in the ring with him.

    ...loved him dodging punches with his hands behind his back. Then knocking people out with one hand behind his back.

    He was so fast people did not know where the next punch was coming from. he was unpredictable. He would hit with multiple combos.

    it took a light heavy weight to knock Jones out and he could knock out heavy weights..he hit hard

    I live in Pensacola, saw the guy once at a restaurant too a few years ago (near about where he lives). I didn't bug him or talk to him or anything, but yeah, was pretty cool. We aren't in a huge town.
