Looks cool but do we really need another post apocalyptic movie?

    Why coheed and cabria?

And yes we need another PA movie as much as we need religious overtones in it but that doesn't make it a better or worse written movie in the long run.

You can never have enough post-apocalyptic movies. or games. or books. or TV shows.

(I likes it don't you know)

good for hollywoods to release an original concept film and not shite all over the original idea.

true...which is what i was happy about and applauding.
but you will notice they have picked up some significant staffing. most of them are great and i am happy to see (i.e. Tim Burton/ most of the voice actors)...others, who knows. I have seen great animations ruined by voice acting(see English versions of Princess Mononoke or Cowboy Bebop for example); and other indies ruined by a combination of added producers and writers as the original story is molded and crafted (hacked) to fit the pallets of the average midwest audience goer. As always, my hope is that it will rock, because Hollywood needs to see successful alternative stories and story telling techniques out there so they will rely less on the done-to-death tried and true.
