I just came home from work and booted up my computer, only to find my internet realllly slow.. So I look in the process section of the task manager and I saw 709.4675.exe and one other number.exe type name... Anyone know what a Windows DirectUser Engine is? Googling came up with nothing
pretty much anything with an exe name like that is a virus or other malware. People can name their process description whatever the heck they want, doesnt change what it really is.
Well I scanned again with Malwarebytes showed those as Rootkits even though I haven't even used my computer since yesterday.. But my internet is still freaking slow as shit and I have no idea what is going on. AVG did nothing to show me that there was a virus on my computer or anything like that.
Give it a pass with Microsoft Safety Scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx That process sounds fishy, like someone has randomized the exe to help escape detection or trending by process name.
Yeah was def a virus... but my internet is so slow right now.. It might just be that I accidentally left utorrent on and was seeding for the last week or w/e lol..
