This was his best ever performance. The movie is brilliant.
    The script..The camera angles..the lighting...the editing..the music is fantastic.

Everyone involved was superb. Great casting.

I felt a tear or two welling up for the last half the movie..about the time you start to figure whats going on.

Then the last scene... Will make most anyone shed a tear.

It is a heartwarming tragic film.

    10 out of 10 stars.

    Very nice movie, inspirational.
In brief, Seven Pounds was about a man who's brother had a double lung failure, which caused Will Smith to start on a self destructive downward spiral of organ donation to the needy, ending up with suicide to save the life of a woman with a failing heart he slowly grew to love over the course of the movie. The main character was Will Smith, the faked IRS agent to gain access to the intimate lives of who he was donating to as to find out what kind of people they were, and the lovely young African American woman with the failing heart. The entire movie was long, boring and heartfelt
with a large amount of confusing subtext only revealed at the end.
tl;dr wtf?.........oic wut u did thar. But srsly, wtf?

Im about to finish "gran torino"..clint eastwood.(finished)

I'm liking it..think.. Archie Bunker with a gun.The only old white man left in the neighbor hood. Korean Vet.

You probably need to be a eastwood fan to watch it. He learns about other cultures and does clint eastwood stuff to the bad guys. I already have heard two great new eastwood lines. I don't want to misquote them now.

Also there is the kid...karate kid meets archie bunker with a gun...(squinting)

edit..eh..it didn't even end like I thought. IF you like clint..watch it for clint being clint.

I saw the film too. I enjoyed it and hated at the same time.
I'm still looking for the song that is played at the end of the movie. When he is running through the rain just before his death.

It was too long. So was Benjamin Button. Overall I enjoyed both movies.

Both were great movies!!! I saw 7 pounds a while ago and had no idea what was going for the first part of the movie. BUt it all came clear in the end.

I was also quite curious as to where the title 7 pounds came from and my g/f enlightened a day later after pondering herself and it is from the bible. If you heurt someone or something like that you owe a pound of flesh to maek up for it. 7 people hurt...7 pounds......7 people to help. Makes sense to me......if anyone else has a thought on this it would be great.

Gran Torino was an excellent movie. It wasnt the fastest paced movie ever but it kept your attention the entire way through. I loved the interaction between clint eastwoods character and the family next door, how it grows. I would highly recommend these 2 movies to anyone. I also dont think you need to be a clint eastwood fan to enjoy Gran Torino.
