What is your name, age, and battle tag?: Patrick, 31, Maldani#1903Tell us a bit about yourself.: Longtime wow player, been doing progression raiding since vanilla with a few breaks here and there. Skipped MoP and WoD and started back up the week Legion dropped. I'm an easygoing stoner who saves the weed for after the raid. I love to challenge times in mythic+ or go for that nightbane run in kara. Looking for a good group of people who push themselves to succeed. I joined this guild when I started back up in Legion, several IRL friends are a part of the guild and they do some casual raiding, currently 4/7H. Much as I tried I just can't do casual raiding, I'm a min/maxer. We need to be with our own kind. Ladies of Destiny - Scarlet Crusade. This was my guild at the peak of my raiding time in WoW. Competing for server firsts with the number two guild on the server. I started raiding in Wrath as ToC was coming out, downed heroic Anub on my trial run with the guild. Progressed through ICC to Heroic Lich King, where we proceeded to wipe 250+ times with no kill. I ended up moving across the country with no computer so I had to quit playing. I can't remember the name of the guild it was so long ago, but I did extensive raiding in Vanilla through AQ and a few attempts on the first boss of Naxx. Raided with a different guild in BC that progressed up to Black Temple before the guild imploded in the middle of an SSC run.Summarize your raiding experience.: Pretty well summarized above, but I've done raids in multiple games, mostly in WoW. I have experience raid leading as well as being an officer in a progression guild. I love to figure out strats and make suggestions during progression when appropriate. What are you looking for from XoO, and from a guild in general?: Looking for a group of like minded individuals, who enjoy tackling the latest content with gusto. People to take the edge off Mythic+ farming and the more mind-numbing aspects of farming. Feeling part of a greater whole you can enjoy your triumphs with.Do you know anyone in the guild that can vouch for you?: Unfortunately not, I was trying to stay casual so far this expansion and my old guild was rather small.Any final comments, thoughts, concerns, or bad puns?: It seems like Legion is going to be one of Blizzard's best expansions so far. I'd love to find a great group of people to enjoy the content with at the highest end. Looking forward to chatting with you and seeing if things are a good fit!
Talked to Maldorni last night. He said he found a group that he's going to try out. Told him if it doesn't work out, to contact an officer and we can schedule an interview at that time.
