I have been meaning to login, however, every time I check TS no one seems to be playing. More of a socialite myself so i'll be more interested if I see people in a channel playing.
Oh big question have the motor bikes been fix any. or just work on your server. last server i played they were very broken, super prone to terrain clipping and disappearing ect. Edit Also do treasure maps work? i might just have to dig deeper
Sorry about the late reply, been out of town for a while. the bikes are working fine - should also be on unedited versions of the game. not sure about disappearing etc, mine is still there! with the treasure maps you have to move to the chest located on your compass, when you're in the near vicinity the chest will blink red on your compass. depending on a certain skill it is within 9x9 blocks around you. Dig about 2 blocks deep, if its not there move on to the next block. if the chest is not blinking, dont dig yet! They are however very rewarding, holding weapons, ammo, skill books, medicine and other goodies.
hmm well have a bunch but only really dug at one was up in snow and there's one of these there now never found a chest i only asked about the bike because they were severely broken last i played
There is a treasure hunting perk which narrows the area that the chest icon blinks red. The area I think is like 9x9 without any rank, not entirely sure anymore. got to read up on it!
it starts as 9x9 then 7x7 5x5 and finally 3x3 i believe just was loooking on their forums and couldnt find anything on the maps so i didnt know how deep the chest spawned- like were they evil and its bedrock? LoL i may have missed it but high probability i may have broke it too..it is a snow biome couple blocks is easy to dug under and drop...
As far as I remember it was like 2-3 blocks deep from all of them that I have explored. Besides one, which was in the middle of a massive lake. had to swim down to get it without any issue. Also; I have made massive holes in the map in order to find the boxes, especially in the beginning when my treasure hunter skill was low.
Quick note to people playing on the server: The Fun Pimps have released information about the game receiving a new kind of big update to the game. The current map can not be transferred over to a new patch so whatever there is built on the map, will be removed when the patch will be added onto the server. However, as admin of the server I can also choose to not update the server and forfeit the features the patch adds onto the game and we keep the current build and setup of the game. oh i could get on but was still browsing forums and other stuff..still waiting on CoE store to exist.... also Pro vs Con on the A15 update list on weather to drive forward or wait... 7DTD doesnt have a set TS channel but not to much worry there with many empty rooms and proximity chat. also CoE has exposed me to the wonders of discord..new things are shiny
