I seem to recall a few people from Xen were in the winter alpha. Is this still a thing for any Xen members? Do we have a group jumping into alpha starting Monday the 29th? Got a guild going etc?
I'm going to be playing, I remember a few other people also playing in the hightier content with us. Can't exactly remember who it was xD... I was gonna make a post but idk I think Albion could be right up XoO's alley if we toss Kyoji out of the picture for opinion of what makes a good game design.
This game is up for the taking for Xen.... there are some decent guilds... even mostly harmless and we are legend lol... oh and dvs.... banished... but no guild that has their shit down completely and has the direction/discipline needed to really run this game. There is a huge need for a guild to work together and funnel mats to crafters and builders, pvp coordination, seige coordination, territory control. Along with Hell gates (rifts) and dungeon runs. Full loot pvp makes it more exciting when catching people out in pvp zones. I need XEN!!!!!! Frustrating being in such a good game and can't find a guild that has the coordination that Xen brings to the table! There are at least 4 of us so far, in a couple different guilds we are trying out, perhaps more straggled throughout the game. Another 10 people and we could already compete or at least have a strong core group!
Guild vs. Guild Territory Fighting Someone asked: "Is there still going to be huge guild wars, where its masses of soldiers against others?" Albion's response: "Absolutely! Only territory fights are restricted to 5v5; fights over player-run cities are set at 20v20, and the world of Albion has enough room for players to organise massive battles with hundreds of players in the open PvP regions. Don't worry, you'll still get your fix of massive sieges!"
Looks interesting, I just hope it's not another Archeage that gives us such high hopes! Then kills us a month later when the game is live. But looks like I might throw money at it to try it out!
Yeah on their forums people keep referencing Archeage. However they seem to have a bit more in depth system in place for labor and learning/crafting points etc. Let me know if you do join and are interested in joining the fledgling Xen community in the game! I'll get you invited and we can get you going
Only one server, and yeah a few of us were messing around in another guild for a few days but decided to get out and actually create Xen. So far 4 members but in a matter of a few hours last night we've bought and built up all buildings on the guild island, and will have a prime location in the center of the town we are based out of for a merchant stall to start earning us money. to not show up as a "zerg" group on the pvp maps you have to be in a party of 4 or less, to defend a territory should we want to buy one, or to attack and take over someone else territory it's a 5v5 battle. So even a guild of 5 members can accomplish some fun things. Just need a core 5-10 players to get things truly rolling.
Ok I will purchase the game today, So whats the best option? Legendary or the Epic. I hear you get the OX and Horse later on so is it really worth it?
