Played this at Pax south, prepare to have a lot of free time when playing this, So slow to accomplish somthing.
Played it, enjoyed it, still long way to go. 20 dollars gets you Rein of Kings. Same set up, day 2 right now of the test. Seems to be quite well done, little more dumb shit you can do. Also! Don't forget to hide the stone up for ass. Its slot is 0, it will help you escape when caught. Darktide.
LiF is much different than a game like Reign of Kings, RoK is more of an action oriented survival game with building elements and LiF is almost a time management game. The general jist of LiF is the same general jist of Xsyon or Wurm Online, it's a much more advanced version of Minecraft that requires patience and dedication. I'm an old veteran of Wurm and people are just finally hitting 100 in some skills in Wurm, yet the games been out since 2006. That's an insane amount of dedication. Now LiF's skill system is not that punishing but the terraforming and building systems are still just as complex so there is still a level of challenge in LiF. This is a very niche game and requires a very specific player type.
Have any of us looked into the Repopulation? Object being such a vet at this stuff I would hope you would have some insight. Why I love ya Darktide.
Feather and I just got repopulation last weekend and have played it a handful of hours. It looks like it could be pretty damn good, but the questing needs a little help. I'm not one for needing markers and auto routes, but it throws so many quests at you once you are out of the tutorial, and you have minimal information on where/how to get some of the stuff you need. I spent a good hour running around in the near vicinity looking for something that turns out isn't near me at all lol in fact I still haven't found it but I damn sure know every inch of the beginner city and it's immediate surroundings!
I'd go batshit crazy after 30 minutes of playing this i think. I'm already cringing at loading screens in other games
