So we have about 10+ people playing SE, and I want to do an event this weekend. Here's how it will work. We will start with the easy mode start, but have the asteroids set to apocalypse. We will then see how long we can keep our base intact. Serious play only, no ramming ships etc. I will be streaming this entire event. We can start @ 7:00 EST Friday night. If you want to participate post in this thread or simply show up. Hopefully we can get a full 16 players in at once. (Lagfest yay!) Cya then.

When was that recorded? And why were you chasing a small cube of light armor? What was it even doing not connected to a small landing gear?
For some reason it was above the landing gear when you start that map. I think it's something to start building a ship off of.
Normally you go into your gear menu and hit one of the three buttons on the side to start building. That was definitely not the cube's purpose and likely not the reason for it being there, which causes me to wonder -- why?
It seems like it wasn't a serious survival event as was planned? Thing to note: Found two of your streams and both lack a chunk of video in the middle.
