Well, it seems that the whole forum section on Wildstar got deleted instead of being moved to "other games" with its own subforum (like ESO). So, since we had 20+ members wanting to play the game, i'm creating this so everyone can share ideas about what we want to do. I see 2 solutions : - Join another guild, if so, please post links to what guild u find interesting, i guess PVP server / Dominion remains. - Form a non official XoO section, like for ESO. Link to the guild repository : https://forums.wildstar-online.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27348-guild-list-all-servers/ On a side note, I find it quite strange that XoO will not be officially represented in the 2 major upcoming MMOs. I'm pretty sure we'd have all time to enjoy another MMO altogether, be burnt out, quit and still have time before moving to SC.
There is not going to be a move to SC. We're expecting all members to be active participants during the dog fighting module. As far as not representing, 20-30 people is not enough for a division, especially with a lack of leadership. It's also not enough to be competitive and get accomplishments for XoO. If you're looking for an MMO to play I suggest FFXIV as we've got a strong division and leadership.
Weird. I was told the other day we only had 30 by dag. Anyway I thought 20 used to be the deal but the whole point is moot if leadership disappeared.
Aye 20 then u recruit, i don't see the issue there. Also, the important is the number of people u have at launch, not 1 year, or a couple months, before.
You're not going to recruit from 20 people. Half will quit for various reasons, the other half wont have enough people to do content, so no one will want to join you. Eventually everyone will just go join a more active group who progresses. Pre-launch numbers do matter. People only join active groups. The more active you are, the more people will join you and the easier it is to recruit. But the main point here is that no leadership exists. A division cannot function without active leadership.
I wish they would announce when they do large updates to the forums. Maybe a change log of some kind. I feel like I am living in the Kremlin where people randomly disappear every couple weeks or so. (Obviously the above is an analogy to the silent disappearing of areas rather than forum administrators being KGB. Thought they might be KGB.)
If you guys want a small Wildstar section in other games I can create one. I think ESO has their own guild outside of XoO because they wanted something different so I will have to see if they still want the section or what their plans are for ESO. The game was very close to release so if you were not in the division you wouldn't have gotten the message in which case you should have been in the division if you were interested in playing. We stated during the community meeting that needless drama would be cut down on so there is no need to make a guild-wide statement about it. If you must know you can message me. That being said the section was not removed because of a number count or anything trivial.
Yeah i don't know, it seems everyone who had an interest about the game vanished or got KGB'ed so i guess i'll have to look on my own, can't really go lone survivor on this one.
"Xen has had a history of people joining divisions and leaving shortly thereafter. I am not saying you would do that, but to be honest I don't know otherwise either. XoO leadership is looking to strengthen our community and that was one of the topics discussed." That is the reason the hegave for turning down my application for wildstar. Irony anyone?
