I don't know why, they weren't keeping it a secret that this was turn based RPG. We've had gameplay of it going back as far as 4 months ago.
Imo Castle Crashers is better than Stick of Truth. I would gladly repay 60 bucks for it (Including all the DLC and stuff). I didn't really look at gameplay trailers since I was more focused on getting it. I have most of the south park games and I just wanted to add this to my collection. I want to be that guy that has all the south park games post N64.
Well... I guess it is $60 for a 14 hour episode of South Park in game form (supposedly that is, haven't finished yet). Personally was either gonna get a discount or wait for it to drop. $48 was what I paid. haha, that's an understatement. I blow so much money. This was my 100th steam game apparently! :embarassed:
congrats! Now you just have to get up to my level, 231 games http://steamcommunity.com/id/EniGmA1987/ I do really want this game, but I am not paying $60 for it. I will wait till it is $30 or less on sale. There are very few games I can justify paying $60 for these days. Prices keep going up and quality and length keep going down.
this is a pretty fair review I think. Playing on hard and the most difficult part of the game so far is figuring out some ability combos I feel I might have missed or didn't get enough tutorial on. Like I still have no idea how to use fart-magic in combat.
Bottom of the wheel green bloby cloud icon they use mana (the bottom green bar under your health and pp bar it can only be filled by using mana items). Your Y button (top button on the controller I think for both ps3 and xbox style controllers no idea what it is for keyboard/mouse) weapon attack also uses this bar. And they work in battle the same way they worked when you learned them.
Loved the game. Thought it was hilarious and didn't think twice about the $60 price tag. A bit short but well worth the laughs.
