some pvp i will pay to play this for a while. i really hope it is good...stays good..gets better even.
I had really hoped they'd done more about the Emperor deal. I don't mind it too much the way it is now, but I wish they'd put more into it than "just" a few extra abilities. Does anybody know if holding keeps provide any sort of benefit for an alliance on a global base? I could imagine it doesn't, seeing how campaigns work. :<
You receive bonuses to damage, exp gain and some other stuff depending on how well your faction is doing (how many keeps & elder scrolls they control, and whether the current emperor is a member of your faction) in your home campaign, whether you're in Cyrodiil or not.
Sooo um... anyone remember GW2? If you math out the difference in movement speed (15% vs 25%) it actually takes a weeee bit longer to move across the GW2 map, but he also didn't go in a straight line. Anyway, it is clear you can fit maybe 7 WvW maps into Cyrodiil, and that is AWESOME.
after watching some videos the PVP seems very chaotic and not really strategy based, can anyone confirm or deny this with perhaps a video that proves it.
Oh yeah, awesome! That reminds me of Daoc and some of my experiences in WAR. The whole "you shall not pass" grinder. This is making me feel a little better about buying the game.
