League of Legends (Amateur Professional Series) TCS Tournament is under way

Our League of Legends division has been hammering away in tournaments for all of 2013. All of our hard work finally paid off when we won the latest tournament hosted by TheTwistedTreeline (http://www.thetwistedtreeline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=299). In winning this tournament we were allowed into the Amateur Professional Series, or TCS as it is called for our three man team. With the game League of Legends moving into season 4, and awaiting the first set of matches to be lined up, we were left twiddling our thumbs in anticipation. TCS has finally announced their first set of matches, which are to be taken place within the next month (The official date has yet to be revealed to us). We will be live streaming the tournament for everyone to watch and cheer us on. So be sure to check back in with us, as I will be providing the exact match day's and times. As for what comes next, well you will all be happy to know, depending on how well we do within TCS you may see us on LCS which is the (League Championship Series) the following year perhaps. League of Legends typically only showed support to the 5 man teams, and only broadcasted their games officialy. That is all changing this year, as they are allowing in the three man teams into LCS. THe top 10% of the teams which participated in TCS will be brought into the LCS the following year.

What does all this mean for us within the division and on the team? We are being payed to play ... simple as that. We as of now have three sponsors for our team, and depending on how well we do, will be raking in a paycheck just to play one of our favorite games. It cannot get any better then that if you ask me.

What does all this mean for Xen of Onslaught? On my stream page, as well as a few of my other players within the division, we all have ads running for Xen of Onslaught, and it being a multi-gamming community, to try and bring in a fresh batch of players. Depending on the amount of money we also bring in, we will also be making donations to Xen of Onslaught as well. Depending on the equipment our sponsors provide us, we may be willing to hold tournaments of our own within the league community, and giving our prizes to the winning teams. All of which will be getting the XoO name out there to the world, and bringing people in.

All in all, I could not be any happier with how things are turning out. It just goes to show you that big things, really do come in small packages. And I could not be any more proud of my division. Good job everyone, and again look for those days and times for our upcomming matches.
