I'll definitely be following this one. It's been a while since I've played a proper space sim. I agree that Freelancer was an awesome game.

 

And here I thought this was a thread about Kerbal Space Program.

Chris Roberts can do no wrong. I'll be contributing to this when I get to work. Probably the $60 level.

 

That's what I contributed too.
Basic goal has been attained, they are now aiming for extended ones such as linux support or else.

His games were always amazing. Combine that with the nostalgia of playing a game that speak to a lot of our "inner children" and this game will be epic for so many reasons. Plus, the Kickstarter video is absolutely amazing.
