    32

    Dethwar
Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic?
    Yes
    What is your prefered playstyle?
    PvP
What kinds of activities are you interested in?
I am a PvP oriented player in all the MMO's I've played. From LOTRO, to RIFT, and now GW2 99% of my time is spent in WvW or in a PvP environment. I run dungeons for some of the skins in GW2 but not really interested in any kind of PvE activities. Currently I'm a rank 15 player in sPvP so I dedicate a bit of time to do that as well. Generally, however, I'm almost exclusively in PvP related environments.
    Previous Gaming Experience:
    - Lord Of The Rings Online (LOTRO)
    - RIFT
    - GW2
    Why did you choose XoO:
Was searching for a global multi-gaming community that focused on PvP. Once XoO transferred to IoJ server - I was intrigued and when I found the website I thought that this was exactly the type of guild I have been searching for. I've previously been in other Multi-Gaming communities but its always been PvX and I've longed to find a guild that fit perfectly into that PvP spirit and mind-set I've been looking for.
Why do you think you'll be a good fit?
I've been searching for a PvP gaming community like this for some time. I am pretty relaxed type and get along with others easily. Although I'm competitive and like winning (especially in PvP gaming) I'm a mature adult that has a gaming hobby. Since I'd be with like minded individuals who love PvP - I think it would be a pretty good fit. I have a strong sense of loyalty and that's why I've been with previous guilds for a long amount of time. But this looks like a good fit for me...and I'd like the chance to give it a shot.
    Localization:
    NA
    Do you have a referral?
    No.
    A little bit about yourself?
I am a Sales Executive for a Fortune 500 corporation. Work from home so I run my own schedule and play during all times of the day - most active in NA peak time zone. I have a wife and a 6 year old girl. When I'm not doing family related stuff - I'm in front of a computer gaming...especially when the little one goes to bed. I'm an outdoorsy type and play Soccer and like to travel and go spear fishing on the weekends. I'm competitive by nature and very loyal.
    Activity level?
    20 to 30 hrs p/week.
Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer?
    Yes
Have you applied to the GW2 usergroup?
    Yes

My apologies - double post. I submitted the first but it looked to be timed out - so I hit the back button and re-submitted. However, now looks like its been submitted twice. Did not see a delete post button - so my apologies for the double post.

A few questions for you Dethwar.

What PvP accomplishments did you have in either of the two games you mentioned and would you be interested in joining a sPvP team if you joined XoO?

Hey Doc, for accomplishments hard to tell since they weren't really known PvP games. For LOTRO, had 2 ranked PvP players - Dethwar (RK - Mage/DPS n Heals) and Ferpocalypse (Loremaster - Mage/Support). Had both up to 1800 out of a possible 2000 in the ranking system. The less you die the more rank you have. We ran in a small group that killed twice and three times our numbers sometimes...so the ranking system was a bit skewed to those that ran in good groups and had good gear. The guild I was in was called Brotherhood of the Shadow which is one of the oldest and top PvP guilds in the world for LOTRO. With RIFT I was in a PvP guild called Pain Train (different than GW2's Pain Train [PRX]). At our peak I was in the first team for their 5 man team - I had a max PvP ranked Mage called Dethwar. Pain Train was easily one of the top 3 defiant teams in the world and proved it when free transfers opened and we did the battleground circuit. We had wins over every major Guardian guild including what was considered the best 5 man team led by PowerX. We had several YouTube videos out as to some of the things we had done. This was a funny one as we were going up against The Enclave and got zerged out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8HJcI1Q1qY and this one was against a mess of Guardians 10 v 40 pretty good fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDD98XjrDeI&feature=related . Some other videos out there ... just gotta find them. Brotherhood of the Shadow in LOTRO is just a single community of players playing LOTRO. Pain Train from RIFT disbanded as some of the players went to SWTOR and others returned to League of Legends.

With regards to joining a sPvP team...I am definetely open to it. We can get on the same server and ya'll can try me out if you want. My main is a Warrior and I run a support/buff hammer build, roamer Greatsword n Sword/Warhorn build, and straight DPS builds. If you are open for it...you can try me out no problem.

Edit**: But I'm more of a WvW type of player. So probably my time would be greatly skewed towards WvW play.
