Love Game of Thrones, i'm starting the second book this weekend after watching the first episode of the season.
Dragon girl is a hot brunette in real life!!! Schwing!!! Now that that's out of the way, I'm super psyched for this Sunday night. I really enjoyed season one and am contemplating reading the series. I think one of my favorite groups of scenes were the verbal sparring back and forth between The Basterd and The Imp. That was just great dialogue. Oh, and when the old codger stood erect and showed he was in hella shape before hunching back over and playing the part of a feeble senile fool.
Tyrion is even more fun in the books. I read them all after seeing season 1 and am glad I did. Going to go back and read them again after this year's season ends. There are also some sample chapters of the next book on his website. Can't get enough of those books.
I never knew a series of books existed when I started watching the show. I just thought HBO had come up with this incredible, badass concept on their own. My suggestion is to watch all of Season I, and then if it hooks you like it did me, then pick up the books cuz books are always better, right??? <--I need to take my own advice and read them. I might watch a season then read the season just so I don't get ahead and spoil the series (is that even possible?!?!?).
ep 2 is glorious! Tyrion is awesome. Little finger is a douche. Probably turned out to be an asshole because catelyn shut him down long ago. Still don`t know how I feel about Varys.
I read all 5 books and cannot stand the show at all.. they got it all wrong!!!! But my parents, who haven't read the books, can't get enough of the show 0_o
I understand the limits that a live action show is going to have, but I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the second season. Tyrion's missing chain, Rob's eloption (that's a word, right?) and Stanis's sex party are three that quickly come to mind. Don't even get me started on Daenerys this season either.
I haven't read the books yet and did find myself slightly underwhelmed with the second season. Daenarys I felt was largely absent and I'm assuming by eloption you mean eloping? I think they set up season 3 quite well though. and That gif is hilarious Rilel.
yeah i felt like the second season has only just begun, and then poof it was over and its called elopement
