Awesome, actually can't wait for a new sim city, ive still been playing the last one i got on steam for a couple of bucks. Sim games that have you building towns, empires, cities, i just cant get enough of them, I usually buy even the worse of the bunch and still enjoy them. (Thinking Tropico here)

I'm glad to see it's like the regular SimCity games, not the SimCity Societies ones.

Reminds me of Settlers mixed with sim city, should be a good mix if you ask me.

    One question:

    Will Wright? (Y/N)?

thats a really good question. Seeing how this is an EA project and he's no longer with EA-- I'd say its safe to assume this project will not involve Will Wright. Last I read, he's in the Second Life scene now.

Yes, but it's difficult to be sure what kind of multiplayer will be supported. No talk of anything like collaborating on a single city; more like you and your friends build your own cities that interact in various ways. Up to 16 players from what I heard.

Right, from what i understand its gonna be more about how you negotiate and cooperate to allocate scarce resources and crisis relief. Like, you have a such a low unemployment number that the city's various companies are having trouble finding workers. solution: negotiate a highway with the neighbor to lure in commuters so you can collect the tax revenues from the influx of workers. Or, your city just had a major disaster and now doesnt have a functioning water supply has electricity issues. Your neighbor can negotiate a rate to send water/power to your city.

None of this is actually confirmed, its just cobbled together speculation for the various interviews and chatter about the product. But it makes sense, and it sounds pretty interesting.
