I have known about this for several months now but since nobody has been talking about this series I figured id start a thread. In the original anime they left out characters, changed the story, left out scenes, and censored some stuff. The series itself is definately among my top 3 favorite animes of all time though, if you follow the manga you will love it.
I am a huge HUGE HUGE fan of Berserk. Haven't really had chance to track the progress of the updated movie though. I have to say I cannot wait. I would do anything to see this. Do we have an expected date yet ?
The first movie comes out on February 4th, the second comes out in June and then the 3rd movie comes out later in 2012 but it doesnt say when yet. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-11-21/berserk-anime-2nd-3rd-films-to-open-in-2012 I was hoping that they would remake the series with modern graphics and more like the manga but it looks like their just going to remake the original series into 3 movies. I dont know how much of the manga they will include in the new movies but since their movies instead of episodes I assume that alot of the manga stuff still wont be in it
