I'm trying to enjoy it but it feels like "another Blizzard game" and just don't really enjoy it. Maybe it will be better once I ger further in the story.
....Sadness, so much sadness. Also I will wash your dishes, do your laundry and walk your dog for that key.
SC2 was little more than an update to SC, so I expected Diablo 3 would be much the same relative to Diablo 2. If it was going to be different, I might have taken a closer look, but it doesn't sound like I'll buy this one either.
Exactly how I feel currently. I felt this way before participating in beta but it only solidified my assumptions.
..I dunno about the assumption that SC -> SC2 is simply an upgrade. The races in many regards are fundamentally different, as well as the unit compositions are massively more wider versed. The idea that SC1, and D2 are generally the best core game design of that genre hold pretty much true. The core fundamentals should be the same.
Right now it's only the beginnning of act 1. I've played through with 3 of the 5 classes and frankly the game style seems a bit dated to me right now.
They let him come back for a week at Christmas. Then he's gone again to make more alien/human babies with their females.
Depends on what your looking for in a game I suppose. Hellgate made a run at that grind style but didn't have a fraction of the content. D3 dev's better keep working on their PvP and do more then a little arena / scenario to que for else it may bomb just the same. Players need that sense of danger... PKers keep the world turning in games lol Since there isn't a stand alone version I hope the auction house for real $$ and the massive amount of items keep it going for a good long while. I know the gold farmers are gonna love it... no need to work the system when it lets you sell imaginary merchandise for real money in game! ^_^
