U.S. Internet speed, Ranked 15th in the world

    And 9/10 times I wouldn't give a shit. Reason being: If I'm rich there's a damn good chance I earned that money. I don't believe that if your poor then you cant be rich, money is easy to make, by the time I'm 50, I'll be a millionaire several times over...and I'm in on a military salary. Anywho, that's a story for a different day.

    And yeah, while my 22mb connection may be suck as compared to Japan, how many sites are out there for you to download above 6mb(750KBps) at? Most servers cap you well before you get anything above the national avg.

    Well I would disagree with that, when I was at school and we had a few t3 lines I continually downloaded at about 3-4 megabyte per second. So that would tell me that the sites weren't capping me. The slowest I would ever get was 1megabyte a second.


    Also something else to add to this thread, these numbers weren't taken from dial up too, they were monitored off of broadband only.

    I believe no one has brought light as to why the US has such a poor connection. Obviously the problem is that our tubes are clogged up with to much porn for it to handle.
