Explain your talent selection (theorycrafting source, specialization choices etc): At the moment im specced to maximize dps while also offering help with damage mitigation. I.E Divine Sacrifice 3. Your Age: 25 4. Current professions and their raid benefit: Blacksmithing and Jewelcrafting. Both professions increase my dps which in turn helps the raid. 5.How long you've been playing WoW and what PvE progression you've accomplished: I started playing in January 2009. Started with Naxx, progressed through that, completed up to Yogg in Ulduar before I took a break. Came back this year and so far ive done 12/12 ICC 10 and 25. 7/12 HM ICC 10 and 5/12 HM ICC 25 6. Describe how you theorycraft your class (websites, spreadsheets, etc): I look on elitistjerks.com to see optimal gear and RAWR to play around with different items. 7. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, schedule, etc): Im currently living in a dorm. Usually done with work and classes by 4pm. After that im free. 8. List scheduling conflicts (include times for possible weekend 10mans): No conflicts for me really. As i stated above, im usually free after 4pm. 9. Guild History - where are you leaving and why: WAS HERE - Bloodscalp. Reason for leaving: Quit WoW. Postal Haste - Sargeras - Reason for leaving: I just felt as a guild we were regressing rather than progressing. Lots of people coming in and out. So I guess you could say i just want something more stable. 10. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild: Tendeuce told me I should apply. 11. List your raid consumables and your method for maximizing them: I use flasks of endless rage and potions of speed. I usually try to double pot speed pots if possible. 12. Not being an ass but I take it the only reason you are 5/12HM ICC25 is because Night bought Kingslayer? You made a good choice leaving them and apping here. I remember playing with you and you were defiantly a good player. You have my vote.
Gemming/enchanting looks solid - just wondering why you put str/crit in your legs though without any type of socket bonus. Talent selection looks good - standard ret raiding build. For glyphs however, I was under the impression glyph of consecration is a must. Exorcism is only a 50 DPS increase. Glyph of consecration helps conserve quite a bit of mana in the long run, and it frees up some GCD clash resolutions. Other than that, looks like a solid app in my opinion.
I put str/crit in my legs because at the time i was poor and only had access to an ametrine, never thought to change it because theres not much of a difference in dps. I tried glyph of consecration, but imo, it all came down to personal preference. I never really have mana issues and I noticed me having alot more idle time with the cons glyph. Then again, i guess it comes down to who im raiding with. I just found the extra dps from exo glyph more useful on fights where im moving around than the cons glyph
