Current professions and their raid benefit: I've recently started leveling my professions Jewelcraftin at 403, Mining 287 Thinking of dropping mining soon and leveling Blacksmithing. Soon will max out JC also. 5. How long you've been playing WoW and what PvE progression you've accomplished: About since WOTLK just came out is when I really started to play. I've done 11/12 in normal mode 25 ICC and 10/12 in 10 ICC, and had several attempts on Lich King. Also along with 4/5 in 10 TOGC and completed all the previous raids to that as well. 6. Describe how you theorycraft your class (websites, spreadsheets, etc): I usually check out couple sites that people recommend like EJ and also ask around experienced players in game for any tips. 7. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, schedule, etc): It's about to be summer and no school meaning my attendance will be almost perfect, live in the Pacific Northwest. Nothing on my schedule for the summer really so plenty of time. 8. Guild History - where are you leaving and why: I was in Conquest, Fenrir, and Destructo Beam. I'm leaving because I know how accomplished Xen of Onslaught is and I would love to be a part of the success you guys have. 9. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild: I saw Detoxz in trade chat saying you guys are recruiting now, and looking for a DW frost DK, which I would be willing to try out if you guys need. 10. List your raid consumables and your method for maximizing them: I always come with flasks and potions for a little dps boost. 11. List scheduling conflicts (include times for possible weekend 10mans): I've got about 2 and a half weeks of school left so during these next 2 weeks will probably be able to make about 75% attendance, but once school ends that's a promised 100% attendance. 12. Provide your raid damage/healing performance. Examples are Recount Screenshot with personal breakdown of attacks, WoW Web Stats (WWS), or World of Logs: I haven't really taken screenshots or anything, but in ICC average dps is 8k but can go 12k+ in some fights. 13. Provide a screenshot of your UI: No screenshot available, but I only have DBM and recount as my add ons. If there are any recommendations of add ons i need please let me know will get them. 14. Can you take constructive criticism and being call out on mistakes (both in and out of raid)? Of course that's what helps people get better so I don't see why not. 15. A few questions/statements: If you are main spec blood why didnt you regem for 100% Armor Pen? Having 100% Armor Pen is the only way Blood can be competive with Unholy or Duel Weild Frost. 670 Armor Pen is extremely low to play Blood. Not having 4PC t10 is a waste, the 3% damage buff all fight is pretty good. Have you ever played Duel Weild frost before? If so what what weapons do you currently have.
I'm waiting to pick up my 4th piece of t10 which is the chest and that will put me up to around what i need to start gemming armor pen. Because if i start gemming right now I will only end up being at around 75 % armor pen or so. I have not played dw frost before tried it out last night and I don't really have any seperate gear for frost just got a couple ICC 10 axes for it, definitely need to get more haste if i play frost dw. But I'm working on that last t10 piece for sure got about 20 more badges to go, but I dont think i will equip the t10 once i get a mark so it will be a upgrade. If any suggestions would be happy to hear them. And I do plan on gemming armor pen if i stay main spec blood soon.
These may seem like harsh questions, but I am curious. Looking at your armory, you have been 80 for almost 7 months. Why did you wait so long to level professions since they provide a good raid benefit just like food or flasks? On this toon? Looking at the armory again, I do not see a Sindragosa kill on 10 or 25 man. When did you kill Sindra and do Lich King attempts? How long have you been in these guilds and why did you leave them?
So far only won couple rolls because no one needed I have frost giant cleaver(2.60 speed) and bone warden's splitter(1.50 speed)
I never realized sadly that they provided raid benefits, but now that I did i recently leveled my JC so i could get the 34 str gems And sorry 10/12 in 25 and 10 man but that's because my guild was doing sindra and we were very close then I had to go so i found a replacement to cover me and next attempt they downed them and then I worked on LK with them for a little but never got too far. The reason i left conquest a while back was because they weren't focused on progressing and they started to not care for raiding so much. Fenrir was just full of people that really were hard to get along with kind of for me and we had our mis understanding. And I'm currently in Destructo Beam but if accepted into Xen Of Onslaught will leave them because I would like to be into more hardcore raiding.
The offhand is wrong. Its not like rogue where you want fast/slow for dw dk its slow slow so 2 2.60 weapons. A blue lvl 80 with 2.60 weapon speed would do more dps then a 1.50 speed weapon

I raided with you earlier this evening. You passed on pants that were a clear upgrade (You should used 4-set minus legs regardless, and the ArP legs were a lot better than 251 tier). You're using an Agility neck, and since you're plate and not a ret pally, it's not near as good for you as a 245 Str neck even. Needle-Encrusted Scorpion isn't decent for Death Knights. It's a 10% chance to proc on crits, and your crit even raid buffed shouldn't be much more than 40%. Good luck on DC or WFS. Mining isn't a raiding profession (Maybe for tanks it's acceptable). Would you be willing to start leveling something else? At the level it's at right now, it's not even good for cash or assisting your Jewel Crafting. Why do you use Glyph of Icy Touch? Diseases are a very small portion of your damage as Blood, which is why gemming ArP is viable. Glyph of Death Strike would be much better in that slot, since it's boosting your hardest hitting ability 25% (The majority of the time). I've always found 2/2 in Epidemic and 2/3 Morbidity works best. Death Coil isn't large enough portion of your damage to make the 5% mean a whole lot, and the extra point in Epidemic allows for a smoother rotation and less runes wasted on Pestilence. I suggest you improve on your faults, finish your professions, research your character a little more and min/max as much as you can. After that fill out another app if you're still interested. We do need a Frost DK now since ours recently took off, but the buff alone isn't worth carrying imo. I'm also not an officer though, so this post should be taken with a grain of salt.
I completely agree with you Fluffer. That was the next things I was going to ask about. Needle Encrusted Scorpion is probably one of the WORST trinkets for Death Knights. You're better off using Dark Moon Card: Greatness instead. I've been so used to playing Unholy that I missed Glyph of Icy Touch. Your Glyphs for Blood should be Death Strike, Dancing Rune Weapon, and Disease. Not having Glyph of Death Strike is a Huge DPS Loss. Having 2 Points in Epidemic its absolutely needed for Blood. You lose out on a an Extra 1-2 Heart Strikes with only 1 Point in Epidemic. With blood you want you're Rotation (but its really a priority system to be): PS-IT-HS-HS-DS-DC-HS-HS-HS-HS Then you can refresh you're Diseases. A better neck for you would be The Executioners Malice off of Twin Valks, or even one of the Strength Necks from ICC 10. Also why aren't you an Orc? You would be expertise Capped if you were one. The 5 Expertise from Axes is really Big. Especially since some of the best Weapons are Axes. Expertise Cap is really imortant for blood. Wow I'm missing a lot of stuff hehe thank you for the tips I will be willing to drop mining for sure. And I'll go ahead and add the glyph of death strike not sure what i was really thinking lol. And I'll make sure to use the tips you guys gave me. And strawberry I'm not sure what legs your talking about really. I'm using my t10 legs because if i were to drop them my expertise rating goes down to 11 and thats way under the cap. I'm still a bit under the cap with 21 but im working on getting a mark for the pants and hoping to replace the agility neck i with maybe the neck of Blood Queen. But honestly i have not seen any other neck drop for me I'm pretty unlucky when it comes to drops or winning them usually. I'm working pretty hard on getting rid of Needle Encrusted Scorpion and if i had the money i would definetly buy a greatness card. But kind of low on gold right now I can get to work on it.
Oh and also I'm not an orc because when i first started playing i had no idea what the benefits are of each race so i just picked randomly really. But i'm working on getting the parents credit card and chaning to orc.
Good to hear you're willing to improve. Also sorry, I was tired last night when I posted. It was the heroic lootship 10-man boots. 83 ArP and enough Expertise to drop your pants (in multiple ways as well ). I know you have the crafted ones so it seems a waste to spend all that cash just to replace, but then you could craft the legs and use those. I'm in a bit of a rush right now, so totally forgot what I was going to say. Maybe I'll remember it later.. lol
