Lost Zaeed. Finished at level 28, get an achievement for 30 so I'll do it again on this toon to get that.

This is the only game I have ever played that I thought it was important to watch the credits. These guys did amazing work. I am now going to bed and will wake up just before ME3 release!!!

I just finished saving miranda's sister, I'm apparently only a few away from going through the omega 4 relay, when are you making these decisions that have people leave you?

You can do whatever you want until you go after the IFF (the mission objective is "acquire the reaper IFF") after that, everything you do matters.

I have to admit that the final mission had my arm hairs standing on end. Man, it was like a really good movie, only I was in it. I am already psyched to start again.

Yes, yes - although I didn't get any teary-eyed moments like I did in ME1.

Let me just say that "Insanity" is truly insane. A lot harder than ME1's insanity, good thing I like a challenge!

Just finished two playthroughs, one Renegade and one Paragon (everyone survived my Suicide missions!) and now I'm slowly working on the Insanity achievement.

Insanity is totally insane. Talk about frustrating haha.

    Finished it last night. Lost
    Tali
    though.

The end fight was pretty good except for
the boss monster--a giant terminator endoskeleton? Really Bioware? How original... Bah.

Playing through again and making my Renegade Samuel L. Shepard.

I'm thinking of saving Tali for last and picking up Legion first before I do her loyalty quest. I want to see what they say about Legion when I bring it to the home fleet. Sounds like it would be entertaining.

Great game. I kind of wish they hadn't dumbed down the inventory and RPG elements for the Xbox crowd though. It would be nice to be able to purchase resources so you didn't have to waste time scanning planets. That was almost as annoying as playing Moon Patrol in ME1 with the Mako.

    Careful,
after you get the IFF, then the collectors are going to attack your ship soon. If you do any missions after they take your crew... the crew dies.

Agree with the above statements but
don't you think the 'Terminator'-esque boss fight was EPIC - if not completely original in concept? The way they said that Reapers are made by whatever Organic Biomass is pumped "into" the machine and 'grown' - I thought that was brilliant, really shed light on the Reapers, I thought they were just hyper-advancedmachines, now I/We know they are the peak of organic and synthetic evolution, a god of sorts.

Yeah I had everyone except the one you pick up on the IFF mission by that point--I did all the side quests and stuff so I just did the loyalty quest for the new member and then went off to the end fight. :)

I was playing on normal so the end wasn't that difficult, especially playing as an Infiltrator in ez-snipe mode.

My new character is Samuel L. Shepard the renegade and I'm playing on Insanity difficulty--definitely more challenging.

The end boss being 'grown' was interesting but it was still a Terminator. :) And the little armor shutters coming down on the 'glass' tubes was silly.

Like I said though, it's much more difficult this time around on Insanity so it should be entertaining. I'm using a level 60 max renegade ME1 save from the database since I can't find my old ME1 savegames. Some of the responses so far have been hilarious.

The disconcerting part is seeing Samuel L. Jackson's face but hearing a completely different voice. Totally funny the first time I heard him speak.

No doubt--I started over last night on Insanity and almost died on the first map since I was used to just shooting without having to worry too much about cover.

Did you do your first two playthroughs on Normal? I put 40 hours into my first one, haven't been able to do 2 yet. Maybe you have more time than I do to play ;]

And I agree, Insanity is totally insane, but I'm almost through the first section of Dossiers and some side-quests. Its still fun!

I got my full squad, everyone except for Jack and other sniper at.. the human looking guy (forget his name) are loyal.

Got the IFF last night, should have waited want to explore the rest of space and get more upgrades.. waiting for the ship to be attacked.. might just jump to the end battle and be done with it.

Normal was to damned boring, doubt I ran in to 'oh shit' missions.. going to bump the difficulty level for my next run through.

Even on Hardcore, it's not terribly difficult... you just have to pace yourself properly. Even moreso on Insanity, I die to minorly dumb errors or if shep decides to stand up even though i wasn't touching the controller and gets 1 shot due to no shields.

Not sure what te last mission entails, read a few things.. thinking of:

    Load out:

    Vents: Tali
Fireteam Leader : Garrus (both times)
    Biotic shield: Samara
    Escort: Grunt

Thane and Miranda as my squad

it's pretty easy going, just make sure whoever you send on the various tasks is loyal, but I had a similar setup. You don't have to pick them all up front so that's a plus in terms of being able to shift your crew around if you desire it.
