Yeah, well, even just to play the standard game it seems worth the initial buy. I pre-ordered as well and I'm playing around on the beta, so far it seems pretty cool. I'd be interested in the subscription if XoO was going to have a team.
Seeing as almost all of the interest for this game died off a while ago when we had a pretty large group testing, I would say this is gonna be skipped over.
I pre-ordered and have just downloaded the beta via Steam. It would be great if XoO plays, but even if not, many of my RL friends are playing.
I enjoyed the game enough in beta to pay up for the release version. The only reason I stopped playing betas was there weren't enough people around to play with. It's super populated now. I'm still on the fence as to whether it'll be worth the $15/month but at least you have the option to NOT pay that.
