http://www.themenwhostareatgoatsmovie.com/#home This movie looks like its going to be great. I may have to go pick up the book till then. It is based on a book about the Army looking for applications of paranormal and the title, as seen in the clip, concerns how they apparently stared goats to death... which is much better than what Roch does to them
When I saw the title in ads..I paid no more attention. Later I saw the cast..I took a look at it then...this might be hilarious.
I saw it two weeks ago. My advice, wait for the DVD. It has it's moments and some fairly humorous references, but I wouldn't pay to see it again, I probably wouldn't stop to watch it on HBO if there was a rerun of Family Guy I've seen 5x before was on.
I agree with the first half of Van's review. The second, not so much. The movie is worth a rent but not a theatre.
uh... isn't the whole premise behind our posts is that we saw it? It's funny in parts but has no climax or draw to keep you watching. 2.5/5
I heard the same thing when I was doing a promo at a movie theater last week. Def not worth the $14 price of a ticket these days.
Man, I'd love to pay only 14 bucks to go to the movies. When you have to carpool to pay the 30 bucks for parking it's just lame. But yes, we have seen it. I like Sokar wouldn't give it over 2/2.5. It's not a bad movie, you won't be upset that you saw it. But it's one of those "I'll watch it because there's nothing better on" type movies. Either gonna see Ninja Assassin or The Blindside this week.
NA isn't going to be an instant classic, you really can't go into it with that mindset. It is a guts & gore style movie, similar to 300, although my guess is without the "epic" quality. As for The Blindside, I think it'll be a quality film because it actually has a female lead that can act as opposed to being the typical body that talks. Plus it's an amazing story.
