I hope more people use joysticks because when I board your ship I'd rather have you scrambling for your keyboard and mouse while I'm shooting you in the head.
They've already said they is going to be plenty of warning for the defenders when someone is trying to board. You're not going to get surprise boarding unless you go through a hangar bay.
