Section 8:prejudice is an online multiplayer futuristic FPS game, based on conquest. It is not an MMO and not persistent. Servers can host up to 40 players at once who battle for territorial control in a fashion similar to the Battlefield series, but much more in depth. This game features setting up defenses, using mechs, vechiles and other tools to win the fight. Did I mention it has jetpacks and fatalities?

While watching this trailer, I was ready to dump $60 on this... then they announced it's only $15! "Weaow!!" UPDATE: Pre-order price on steam is now only $13.49!! (this is a one time payment! no monthly fee!)

April 20th for Xbox 360 and May 4th for PC.

Check this page out for a video of in-depth gameplay:

  2. Ill have to check it out later. I loved the spawn system in the first game but I hated the lock on. This lead me not to actually buy the game in the end. I hope I like this one better.

That's looks pretty sweet... and hell $15?! I make that in a hour at work.. and have a feeling I'd end up playing this ten fold... can't wait for it now

  4. Just when you thought the deal couldn't get any sweeter... it's now 10% OFF on Steam (pre-order discount). There is no reason not to get this game, unless you like fluffy bunnies and unicorns with rainbows and pink stuff.

  5. Does it still have the lock on system?

  6. Not sure at the moment, haven't looked very deep into details. All I know for sure is that it will own.

For that price I'll definitely pick it up on PC. Looks fun.

Looks interesting, and like many have said before... 15$ is a joke. I will be getting this for sure.

  9. Actually looks pretty good. I'll make a note to pick it up when i have some spare cash.... :)

  10. I think I will be joining you guys on this game !

Eskara, or whoever, do you know how the servers work? I.e, will we need to get an NA version or is it universal.

  11. The servers will be universal I think, since it works just like any other FPS game.

Also, I just played the demo on Xbox 360 and it's really sweet! Looking forward to May 4th! This game has a unique set of classes.

  12. Graphically speaking this looks nice :)

  13. I loved the first one but not the auto aim...

    3. Does lock-on make a return in Section 8: Prejudice? How does it work?

Lock-On has returned in Section 8: Prejudice and it behaves much like it does in Section 8. Players are able to lock-on to enemy players, allowing the powered armor suit to assist the soldier’s aim. Lock-on persists for a short time, depleting faster for each bullet fired. After lock-on has been expended players must wait before it can be used again. Both EMP weapons and the Jammer Beacon can interrupt or prevent the use of lock-on

This is the only reason I wont be getting it :(

  14. Yeah but you can't kill off your enemies with just lock-on... it doesn't last long enough. It's mainly for finishing off your opponent.... and I love the lock-on personally.

  15. on a serious note, I may actually just pick this up. Looks awesome.

  16. A quick look at some mech fatalities:

  17. Could be a marketing ploy.. If everyone jumps on this and it gets popular.. 15 bucks adds up.. Could give other companies an insight that 60 bucks is getting a bit ridiculous in terms of games...

    Also Rubius....

Broke 1 and 2.. tsk tsk..

LOL bc of a lock on u wont play a game LOL and be a pussy about it =P

  19. I may have broken rule 1, but for only $13.21 CAD, it's not a huge deal. It would be a big deal if I payed $60 for it though.

I didn't really break rule 2 because although I pre-ordered, the game is already completed (released on XBL), and pre-ordering now won't affect the final product, whereas if I pre-ordered months ago, I would have contributed to the deterioration of the final product.
