Pretty sure another developer picked up the game. Even if it launches it's not going to last very long which is a shame because it was an original concept in todays MMO market.
Its still the same developer, NetDevil, its just that they were bought out by a different publisher, Gazillion. And no there has been no new info since E3.

i have been signed up for this for EVER ... I really want this game to do well ... but like said above its going to fail ... to long to develop
Length of time to develop isnt anything though, compared to some games out or in development. Besides would you rather have a beta which is very good, or something which is so pants that no-one would play it after release? Spacebased MMO still has huge potential, just needs something to fill the void left by Elite chain being very dated
